2008 Thomas Gober
Forensic Accounting
Services, Inc.

Forensic Accounting is an exciting, challenging, and highly specialized field that combines investigative skills with accounting expertise. A forensic accountant identifies, retrieves and examines financial data; analyzes and dissects complex corporate, governmental and individual financial and accounting issues; and summarizes the findings for application to a legal issue. A forensic accountant is typically retained by corporations, governmental entities or individuals through their attorney in matters involving complex accounting, financial issues and fraud investigations and may be called upon to present and defend case findings in court as an expert witness.

Gober has focused primarily on insurance company criminal accounting fraud scandals that reverse the fraud entries to restore their financial reporting ruses to truthful and accurate ones. He also specializes in health care fraud matters.
